Quick Wired Bristol Progress Update

First off I’d like to apologise for my lack of posts recently. My contract with work ends at the end of August (the end of this week!) so I’ve been trying to find something new, but I’ll post more about this another time.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been putting a lot of effort into working on Wired Bristol, which is starting to come along very nicely.

There is still plenty I have to do but I’m getting there. The areas which you will definitely see when the website launches are:

• News (the latest from the Bristol area)
• Forums / Discussion Area
• Featured (featured articles)
• Local Guide
• Polls

Areas which you may see at launch… but could be pushed back

• Entertainment (movie, TV and book reviews)
• Classifieds

If there are any Bristolians out there who would like to help out with the website (news publishers, editors, reviews etc) please contact me and let me know you are interested (dale.anthony -at- wiredbristol.com), I could really do with some help!

I’m also looking for fancy ways of promoting the site for it’s launch, I have an idea for a video promotion I’d like to film but that will only happen if I can find the time. If you have any other ideas for promotions please let me know.
